I received my 'World Vision' Grace single last week and was curious to see that the 'Live in Sydney' version was recorded by www.moshcam.com, an awesome Aussie site that hosts full concert videos of gigs in and around Sydney. I immediately checked to see if Ed's show was up on the site only to be disappointed.

I checked again today and lo-and-behold, it's up!!

I've ripped video from this site before using Replay Media Catcher (see here for a Jane's Addiction DVD I made from this site), but that method doesn't seem to be working anymore - will try and figure it out and post a rip as soon as I do

I thought I was having similar issues, with not being able to get it to play in VLC. I would get the main screen to open, but the dvd wouldn't play. I was trying to use the mouse and click on the menu options and it wouldn't work....when I simply scrolled down using arrows and then hit enter it worked fine. I feel stupid that it took that long to figure that out.

However I can't burn a DVD that works. Is there a IMGburn version for mac? I tried a program call DVD imager...that gave me a .img file.

I tried burning that and tried it in a dvd player and it said it would not play this disc. I then tried it in my PS3, and it told PAL playback was not capable. Is my problem that I am creating the wrong file type or is it a region issue.

I also just downloaded the MTV unplugged and had no issues getting that one to play on my TV.

Ridley, you do some amazing work!! Thanks for everything...I'm looking forward to downloading some of the other stuff you have up!!

The built in DVD burning app on your Mac is fine. But if you want to try another application, try
"Burn". It's free and there's even a video tutorial on how to burn a video_ts folder.

There's no region locking on home made videos. It could be a PAL/NTSC issue though. Your PS3 and DVD player don't seem to like PAL videos. Probably a hardware issue.

Which version did you download? I believe there was a PAL and a 'patched' NTSC version made available.
