Anyone know around what time TGF might be taking the stage tonight?

I know, why is she asking if anyone else went, instead of giving a review of the show??

I am a 'he' - Jason, nice to meet you.

Been a busy day here at work. And headed to the Braves game tonight, so needless to say free time isnt working in my favor today.

I'm not really into reviews as much as I was curious about who else might have some good pics/videos from the show. I like that stuff. But looks like I'm the only one so far, so I'll add some detail about the night for you guys/gals.

First of all, I was highly critical of the venue when the show was announced. I had not been to the Masquerade since my days at GT (mid-90's, yes I am old). Back then it was a dark, smelly, hot, smoky mess of a venue. That was not the case last night. This place has been updated nicely. Was very clean, well ventilated, and quite cool to be honest What a pleasant surprise!

And the stage set up allowed for some pretty amazing views too. I spent a good bit of the show so close to the side of the stage I could prop my foot up on it and literally reach out to touch CT. Historically, one of my favorite parts of seeing Live well, live, was watching CG wail on the drums. Last night was no different. Damn is that guy passionate about what he does!

The crowd varied in size during each opening act (Six Shot Revival & American Bang). I got there at the end of the Six Shot revival set. There were probably more people in the area (hell) for Six Shot and American Bang than were there for TGF. GWAR was playing on the other stage (heaven) in the house, and I'm certain that some of that early crowd was just there to see them instead. Their loss.

Maybe ~75 people there for TGF. They came on ~9:45. Opened with Appetite. Pretty rockin' intro. And damn was that place loud! My ears are still ringing. My favorites were The Rest of You, Sing, Honest Man (rock version), Silly Thing, and Tridecim. The note that KM hits at the end of that song (on the lyric 'flatland') gives me chills. Last night was no different.

If some of you recall, and I know you do, I was hesitant about TGF from the start, because I have never been a fan of KM's vocals (it was the reason I never got into Candlebox). He fits very nicely with these guys, and it was just awesome to see the old Live guys rocking out again. Great chemistry on stage. CT & SH had some killer solo's together.

I will do what I can to get some decent pictures from the show to share with you guys. The pics from my cell phone arent very clear.

The low point of the show, in my opinion at least, was the 'front porch' thing. Stick with the ear-pounding rock please! Its more fitting for their style. They did this part right in the middle of their set. Said they needed to get it out of the way early so that they weren't drowned out by the noise from Gwar upstairs.

I dont recall the exact set list, never was good with remembering those. The closing with Honest Man, and then Sing, was outstanding. Show ended ~11:20.

All the guys hung out after the show for the usual grip-and-grin session, signed autographs, sold merch, etc. They were noticeably tired. CT & KM were the last ones out just shooting the shit with some of the last stragglers. I shook some hands, told them all 'thanks', and caught up with an old Live friend in the process.

Loved the show, and can't wait for them to get back to Atlanta.

Awesome, glad you liked it. I've been telling you guys about Martin's vocals for the longest time now. That fucking guy has one of the most powerful voices in rock and roll period. Some people might not like his pitch or whatever, but that doesn't change the fact that his voice is huge. He sounded so good and so powerful, I actually thought he was lip synching at first.

Glad you enjoyed the show, too bad more people aren't checking this band out. A crying fucking shame for sure. Glad you enjoyed the show though bro. and sorry, I've thought you were a chick all along!
