I'm really interested in why certain people aren't digging Kevin's vocals. I think it would be more interesting to know "why" instead of "they are poor."

I think if you dig a classic raw vocal style (Plant, Mercury, Roger Daltrey, Steve Perry) its a no brainer. The dude has range and to spare, but if you don't like a high male vocal than I get it.

Just curious because usually the comments are just "I don't like it" with little explanation beyond that. Are people just expecting Eddie K's vocals or what?

For me,that screaming type of vocalist has never done it for me. I just can't connect with his style. To me he fails to give a story,and a lot of the time it doesn't fit the music for me. He does well in Honest Man,Appetite and Tredicm. Crying time is a good story telling song. For me though,he just can't keep me interested for long enough for this to be a classic album for myself. It's good,but not great because of it

I don't mind that some people don't like his vocals, I've been a Candlebox fan since 1993 and have had the discussion many times over. I was more interested in knowing why because I am a fan of music and I enjoy discussing it. You gave a nice explanation and I appreciate it.

As for the EK thing, you didn't do it but that has been a point of discussion numerous times on this forum (example: people saying they would like the songs a lot more if Ed were singing them). That was why I brought it up, I wasn't trying to start anything.
