I recently found a VHS with some bits and pieces I taped in the 90's - and the jewel among them was this awesome performance of 'I Alone' from the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards that as far as I know has yet to be circulated in the Live community.

The quality isn't great (I think it's at least a 2nd generation copy) but it is without a doubt one of my favourite performances of the song - CT is in especially good form, this was recorded a couple of days prior to that sensational Jones Beach show OutToDry recently uploaded.

Enjoy!

PS> The folder also contains a 320 kbps mp3 version from a different source that I downloaded from here sometime ago.

Thanks for this. It was a great performance by the band!

<technical talk>
When I encode footage that has come from VHS tape, I either add a black mask around the edge of the picture (to mask the head switiching noise at the bottom of the frame) or sometimes do an even crop all around the picture and zoom in.

Usually the head switching noise is hidden by overscan on a regular CRT tv, but with LCD and Plasma screens it's clearly visible..

Carry on... smile.gif
