Thoughts on "Honest Man" and "Believe", One Song - Two Versions Options

You guys do realize that music from "Honest Man" by TGF comes from the song "Believe" by Live.

New lyrics - same base song . Ed had his chance with it and then Kevin (or the band) redid the song.

I wish I had a studio version of Believe to directly compare the two vocal performances. I prefer the lyrics of Honest Man but I would have loved to hear this as a Live song.

* ed had been writing for new Live songs since 2006. I think much is used on his solo album
* Chad taylor had quite a few ideas he worked out, also he wanted to use this for Live. I think much is used on the TGF album.

It would seem that from all the stuff CT had written and Ed that if they would have been able to make another LIVE album with everyone working on it and not just Ed that this album would have been more creative than anything since TDTH. They would have had a lot of material to work on and take CT's or TGF's now music and add it to some stuff from Ed and I think tis album would have been great! The shows they were playing before the breakup and the appearance of Believe would suggest that if Ed would have been open to the idea of collectively writing together then this album would have been bad ass I think! IMO
