Never said that Ed is the greatest, but I like his music way more than TGF's.

Be careful with Oxy....a lot of people don't take well to that crap.

That wasn't fair of me to put words in your mouth, but that is definitely the impression we get from u on these boards, as you're prob aware. I assumed, and we know what happens when people assume!! My bad.

Thanks for the well wishes on the Oxy, I did have to start taking less of it. That stuff is way to much for me. It changed my personality for the worse and had me confused when I was taking it every 4 hours. I don't know how people can function on Oxy...or even worse, drink and take those pills for recreation. Don't get me wrong, I'm no angel. I've been friends w/ Mary Jane for many many years and did all the normal things growing up, but meds are nothing to play with.

I lasted only a couple days on Oxy. The doc moved me down to 3 advils shortly after my shoulder surgery. I can't believe that doctor's prescribe Oxy without major warnings attached.

Doctors doesn't have an apostrophe. All prescriptions have side effects, and all prescriptions come with information. You don't move "down" to Ibuprofen after being on Oxycodone. The two are completely different drugs. From a side effect and safety standpoint, I would rather take an appropriate dose of Oxycodone than 600mg Ibuprofen. You shouldn't be surprised by anything a doctor does, because you have zero training to be a medical doctor and therefore have no capacity to critique his or her work.

600 Ibuprofen stopped me from getting deathly ill. Oxy basically did not allow me to hold down food or water. I've had other friends face the same issues with the drug.

Just because I have zero medical training, does not mean that I can't think that doctors sometimes prescribe and overprescribe medications that certain patients have no business taking.
