Just wanted to add something sort of 'on topic' ... I was buying some cds over on amazon.com and I came across someone selling something I was interested in - looking at their profile, I noticed they had purchased 'V' on amazon - so I clicked the CD cover, which of course took me to the item etc.

I then noticed the comments made about the album - something I hadn't read at the time. I just glanced over a few of them, especially the many positive ones from circa Sep 2001 and early 2002. I then found these 2 consecutive posts, which I found really interesting for different reasons...

Reviewing the new Live album. 20 Sep, 2001
Another one from live as the musical world, waits?....no, anticipates?...no, no, how about DOESNT EVEN NOTICE smile.gif
The album has been out for 2 days now, and I get the first review, well hear it goes ---> When is someone going to put Ed Kowalczyk out of our misery. Its enough already, stop waisting the recording space. You want a review for real? It sounds like nothing.
By the way, who really wrote Throwing Copper?

I can't believe live put this alblum out 20 Sep, 2001
Normally I have nothing but praise for live. I own all there cd's and have never been dissapointed with any of their music. I even like Secret Samadhi, which I know a lot of fans dislike. There are maybe three songs that I like on this disc. simple creed, deep enough and call me a fool are quite good, which is the reason I gave it even two stars. The rest of the songs sound forced, overproduced. The emotion dosen't ring true in these songs as it does on all their previous alblums. I don't want another Throwing Copper, I just want an alblum that has consistently good tunes.

Just wondering if many or any of you might have commented on amazon, and what your initial 1st listens felt like. I'll be honest - I quite liked 'Simple Creed' when I 1st heard it - but once I bought V, I got bored of it very very quickly.

Would like to hear your thoughts...if any
