The Gracious Few have some fun at Fat Daddy's (article) Options

I did a search and didn't see this posted anywhere. It was an interview right before their 1st gig at Fat Daddy's. If you click on the link, you will see the drumhead they signed for 'Aitkens'.

The Gracious Few -- a new act made up of Live's Patrick Dahlheimer, Chad Gracey and Chad Taylor and Candlebox's Sean Hennesy and Kevin Martin -- played their first gig Thursday night at Fat Daddy's. In between setup and sound check, the guys gathered around a table on the club's deck to joke around and answer some questions. Read about the show here. Here are a few things you might not know:

Silly Bandz: Hennesy was wearing a few on his wrist. He said someone gave him a few the other day and he had no idea what they were. Dahlheimer said his kids "are so over" the plastic bracelet craze.
Drink of choice: Jack Daniels, according to Martin.
How the group passes time while on the road: Reading, surfing the Web, playing basketball and checking in with family and friends on Skype.
"It's never easy to leave home," Dahlheimer said.
School spirit: "Go Bearcats!" said Taylor, a William Penn Senior High School grad.
Best paycheck: Taylor said that Public Affection (which would later become Live) once played a Rolling Rock night at The Depot. They were paid with a case of beer.
Relocating: Martin said he "fell in love" with Lancaster and is considering buying a house in the area.
Lunch for the roadies: Burgers from Five Guys.
Busting little brother's chops: Adam Taylor, Chad's brother was opening the show. Chad joked about giving his brother a hard time. "I told him 'no rider, no sound check'," Chad joked. "We're going to throw him up there."
American fans vs. European fans: Gracey said that European fans sing a lot and know how to clap in time. Martin joked that they might provide a clap track for American fans.
The next stop: They band will be playing a private event for race car drive Michael Andretti this weekend.
Song lyric debate: Taylor said he listened to Led Zeppelin's "D'yer Mak'er" on the way to the club. He noticed that some of the lyrics were similar to "Every Breath You Take."
"Did the Police lift those lines?" he asked.
Martin said he thought Sam Cooke originally recorded "Every Breath You Take" (way before the days of Led Zeppelin). The debate continues.

That's not my drum head. Those were the generic ones that they buy, sign, and then sell at the merch table. Mine was a used drum head that was signed differently. Gracey took it off when he was putting fresh drum heads on his set.
