I absolutely love the music. Kevin singing in that higher register may need to grow on me though. Maybe it's because it's in such stark contrast to the rest of the songs, but I'm not 100% enthused about the vocals for that one. Again, it may be one of those songs that grows on me as time goes along.

I dig it because it isn't something I've heard him do before. Seems he's done a great job of stretching himself vocally for the new band.

Whilst I'm not a fan of his higher register singing, it's purely on taste. His voice isn't cracking, he's doing it well unlike some lead singers who can't reach notes they push themselves to.

I agree that he does it well. And because of that fact, it may yet grow on me. The music is enough to keep me from skipping it until that happens.

Oh totally it may grow on me too, it may turn to one of my favs, def not closing the door on it. Will need a proper listen when the album comes out, just at the moment its not doing much for me compared to the others.

I imagine on the album that there will be some nice reverbs on it to give it a lot more fullness, Prince-style.
