Now that more of us are hearing the boot, I thought a thread discussing the songs would be fun.

While I don't think I'll listen enough to do a song by song review, I am very impressed with how interesting these songs are. While they maintain a traditional structure for the most part, they always end up going places that I didn't expect. The section after the guitar solo of "Honest Man" is a good example of this, and those moments happen in almost all of the songs.

Can't wait to rock out to these songs tomorrow night!!

Gonna skip over the tracks I heard before.

The Few: Awesome, love the change up after the chorus. Great, great song.

Far Behind: I'm a fan of Candlebox, though not a super fan, but I think this might be one of my favorite versions Far Behind. Love the kick up in the tempo. The drum behind it is great as well. Gracey really stands out on a lot of these tracks but I love what he's doing behind Sean's guitar in this one.

Guilty Fever: Love the base/drum rhythm but not a huge fan of KM that high up in his register.

Nothing but Love: I liked this song more then I thought I would now having heard the full version. Very cool song.

What's Wrong: A nice ballad, be a good song to relax too. Not my favorite of the tracks, though.

Silly Thing: This would make a good third single after appetite. Got a good sound, would get some play on rock and adult alternative.

The Rest of You: I'm not wild about this song. It's just ok for me.

Lakini's Juice: rockin.gif I'll admit I miss SS era Ed's growl on this song but I like the changes they put in it. Gracey again is a standout.

Closer: My favorite of the "new" stuff. Bad fucking ass.

Cryin Time: Great song. My favorite of the "ballad" songs (though it really isn't a traditional ballad).

All I Hear: A great concert song. Gonna be a blast to hear in person.

Sing: Hearing this song I'm reminded of my friend's former band. They wrote this one song they never gave a title to, but it just felt like a song that was meant to end concerts. Sing strikes me the same way. Once everyone knows the lyrics I imagine the audience will carry the song out at a lot of venues.
