I can't take being on a forum where the moderator repeatedly lashes out at members, and hijacks threads about music to spew venom about the band and their fans.

I'll see you guys when a different board opens up.

I will answer these paragraphs one at a time:

-Chad Taylor's has blogged about Ed being responsible for Live's content this decade and that the albums were met with a resounding thud by the masses. That was in the intial email blog, and since then there have been numerous swipes about Ed "going soft" etc. Of course, he wouldn't badmouth the project to a random fan while he was out promoting the CD, that would just be idiotic.

-On the Songs from Black Mountain CD jacket, Ed Kowalczyk is credited with all music and lyrics.

-I own and love all of Live's CD's.

-Jimmy did get me passes, and Ed was not nice at all when I met him in 2004. I've met him 3 times since then (2006, 2009, 2010) and he has been a totally different person. He has been appreciative and cordial since that first meeting. I will admit being wrong about voicing my complaints in a public forum back in 2004. I was wrong to do it. I've since apologized to Jimmy, whether he accepted or not is totally up to him.

-What Ed can not do is call his new band LIVE. However he still is Ed Kowalczyk of Live.

-Actually when I took over Ed's Facebook he had roughly 5000 fans, and now he is approaching 10,000. I did overpost at first, but no long-term hurt was done.

Chad didn't bad mouth Ed at the time that SFBM came out and he didn't like the sound and the album went nowhere. He was a supportive bandmate and friend. He didn't bad-mouth Ed while Ed was in the band and was a friend. It was only after the revelations and the break-up and feelings were hurt and deeds that were done had come to light that he voiced his opinion about the music over the last decade.

Nick, I actually disagreed with the way you were treated on SOY many years ago when you aired your honest opinion about your experience with Ed. I thought you should have been allowed to be honest and criticize the way you were treated. Yes, you made a rash assumption that Ed was doing some sort of illegal substances, and you probably should have been a bit more circumspect about that, but I didn't think it was fair for everyone to jump on the band wagon and flame you for basically having something negative to say about a negative experience with the band. At the time I defended you and I didn't agree with the constant "bleaching" of the record at SOY where no one was ever allowed to say anything negative. I guess we don't even agree about that.

I may have gone too far to criticize your posting on Facebook and references to Live and the number of followers. I'm sorry about that. You actually do keep the fans well informed and put a lot of work into promotion. I do, however, wish that those posts were kept in a seperate account and that Ed would have a seperate account to communicate to fans. Other huge stars do all there own posting. Heck, even Ashton Kutcher doesn't have an admin doing his posting for him. It keeps it more personal.
