What OTHER Bands Do You Love or Like? Options

I've noticed in the ED vs TGF threads that some of us seem to have wildly different tastes in music, which is actually really cool.

I'm curious how everyone here would answer the following questions:

1) Between the examples we've heard of Ed's new music and the examples we've heard of TGF, which type of music is more your style?

2) What OTHER bands do you love/like?

3) WHY and WHEN did you gravitate to Live's music?

I think it would be really interesting to see the trends these answers would probably show.

Unfortunately, I figure it would take about 4 posts before someone was mocking someone else's reply or bitching about Ed or claiming TGF is evil or whatever.

But if that kind of crap didn't happen, and we all answered, don't you think there would be some noticeable trends? I sure do.

1. I like all styles of good music - except for country - it would not be unusual to find Rage against the machine playing on my ipod, followed by a neil diamond song (no apologies- i love neil- every cheesy moment..) - but by and large my fav musical genre is 90s alternative rock.. from what i've heard TGF fits more w/my style than what we've heard from ed so far..

2. incubus, alice in chains, soundgarden, rage, audioslave, killers, green day

3. i discovered live during throwing copper-thought it was a great album, like PJ's ten, but SS elevated the band for me personally into my fav.. the intensity of it, the intriguing weirdness of the lyrics (Insomnia & another hole in universe still one of my favs) and a balls-out rocking sound..
