Hello everyone!!!!

Im Wam, and although this might be a little hard to comprehend, im from the year 1999 and im on a special mission as a representative of the live fan-community!!! For highly complicated scientific reasons i haven't got time to explain, our time machine was only designed to allow for a brief tear of the space-time continuum so I've decided to spend these precious minutes here on the fansoflive message board!!!

Well, it is 1999 and as im sure everyone here knows +Live+ has just blown all of us away with their fourth studio album "The distance to Here"!!! And rumour has it they are preparing for their fifth album!!!! Yeeeeeha we are all so excited and believe us we are very jealous of you mob who have already heard it and all the rest of the wonderful music they have no doubt created in the decade since now.

How awesome it must be for you guys to witness the truly masculine stage presence of the rock god ed kowalczyk, who could only possibly get better with age and maturity! Or the deeply passionate and inspired lyrics that have no doubt evolved since our time! Oh you cant imagine how excited we are to step into the new millenium!!

Well, i need to get back to my time before my tomfoolery destroys the universe. peace to all and long-live +Live+!!!

The irony here, of course, is that 99% of the message board posters were declaring The Distance to Here to be TERRIBLE and THE END OF LIVE and THE BAND'S WORST CRAP EVER in 1999. My oh my, how times have changed! smile.gif

Within 5 or 10 years, SFBM will be remembered as Live's masterpiece. Mark my words!

Within 5 or 10 years, SFBM will be remembered as EddieK's masturbation.

Seriously, there was one song off the album that was semi-decent. I think...

I remember that. Secret Samadhi was also called terrible if my memory serves me correctly. I think it became tradition for every Live album to be called terrible until the next one arrived starting with SS.

There's a difference with SS, and TDTH. Those albums didn't suck. They were just different. It took time to get used to the differences after each release. SS was a big disappointment to me after TC, especially after they released Lakini's Juice as the lead single. I was expecting other-worldly super rock after getting blasted with that song. The rest of the album was... different.

SFBM? Ear jizz. That's not different. That's Vertical Horizon.
