... and to really put a sting in a remix hard rocking version of The River! lol

I am all for the covers.....See the older TGF threads where I am petitioning for some old 70's rockers which are awesome concert gems. I'd love to hear/see these!!!

No, no AC/DC, not now, not ever, not by anyone. I would listen to Eddie K a thousand times over than AC/DC.

I do agree though that the Live/Candlebox songs should be limited, and that they should play all their own material in full ... I've always thought bands that don't play their full new album on a tour obviously aren't that proud of all of it .. it's usually how I can identify what the band considers filler on the album, the songs that don't make the tour setlist.
I would like maybe 1 of each Live and Candlebox maybe as part of an encore or something though ... especially from the Live side, playing some rare tunes would be a nice thankyou to the fans after years of stagnant setlists.

I knew you would weigh in on the AC DC songs. I think those 2 songs have great guitar parts for TGF to follow on. Not sure why you hate them so much. I think they are simple, loud and hard driving....knowing they are from your homeland, makes me wonder why...I know they are long in the tooth and a bit off their rockers!!!!

AC/DC are pure trash to me, the guys voice is just unpleasent, it's just a noise. It doesn't sound like he's singing, he literally sounds like he's in pain whilst trying to gargle mouth wash and communicate with an animal at the same time. How on earth they manage to hoodwink everyone into thinking they're heavy when its just bogan music (an Australian term). Then theres 60yr old men dressing as school kids, doing that same ridiculous hop thing across the stage over and over. They just somehow manage to bring together everything I hate in music into a little package. There are bands I don't like, and there are those I just find offensive, AC/DC is the latter. But if you like them, go for it

Yeah iris could go down well actually! I even reckon they could pull of Waterboy haha.
