Q: Introvert or extravert?
A: Completely an extravert.

Q: Did you set out to have a career as a musician?
A: YUP! In 6th grade my teacher Mr. Atkins brought a guitar to class and this kid Freddy, got up and played Stand By Me with two fingers in front of the entire class and blew my mind. I said, "I can do that."

Q: If you weren't a musician, what kind of work would you do?
A: I really have no idea. this is who i am and all I know. Fuck man, I need to get a hobby!

Q: Musical influences?
A: Django Reinhart, Jimi Hendrix, Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, Television, Mark Knoffler, Joe Walsh, Vai and Uncle Matt and the Shitbirdz. Way too many! My tastes and styles change all the time!!

Q: Is there a particular genre of music that you avoid?
A: Perfect over produced predictable pop...of ANY kind!

Q: If you could play guitar with any other person dead or alive, who would it be?
A: Jimi! That guy knew how to party!

Q: How is your experience of playing with TGF different from your experiences with Candlebox or the HiWatts?
A: I have a voice. Not that I didn't have one in Candlebox or the Hiwatts, but with The Gracious Few I am an hermano of the band. An equal. My Bro Montanas, my Bro Namaths, my Bronas Brothers!

Q: What do you like best about touring?
A: Traveling. Somewhere new everyday. Meeting new people. Seeing old people (uh you know what I mean).

Q: Do you have any special pre-show rituals?
A: I rearrange the furniture in the dressing room followed by T-Pat bustin out with his beatbox droppin some rhymes while i breakdance some Platform, Reverse Airbaby, Elbow Chair, Headstand moves. You know, the usual.

Q: Pictures have been posted of you mostly naked, wearing a rather large elephant shaped g-string. Comment?
A: Ahhh yes! The infamous elephant ding sling. It was part of an end of tour gag with the opening band Cinder Road. We put it in front of their kick hole on the kick drum. Every time he'd hit it, Dumbo wanted to fly. As we were ready to go back out for the encore I took it and put my trunks on. Ah good times, good times.
