Really ? Options

My wife was complaining and asking why I still check that Live website when they're not even a band and I was telling her that there's actually a lot going on since there are actually going to be 2 albums released this year by Ed and TGF. Eventually the conversation got to:

"Really - you're going to support the guy who was a jerk and asked his friends for a lead singers fee, stabbed his group in the back, and wrecked your favorite band?"

Good Point - With all the exciting news sometimes you lose perspective on how it all started.

Anyway, to make it clear, with all the speculation and without any clear facts about the money and break-up and the jokes around it, I still remain on both sides and am eagerly expecting both albums this summer because hardly there will ever be a MORE fave musician to me than Chad, Chad and Pat and a better singer than Ed.

And I personally clearly state that I do not give a fuck about their income and stuff like that

Agreed. Why people care how much musicians make, where they live, how they live their personal lives has always puzzled me. Simple curiosity is ok but many people take it a bit too far. The only thing I care about is the music that comes from them not where they go on vacation.

From what I've seen, some people are just perpetually curious about how the other guy lives, especially if the other guy is a celebrity of some sort. Curiosity, more then jealousy would be my guess, but I'm sure there's a fair share of both driving such actions. I've never really understood it either. It's like the people who spend their weekends going to every open house in nearby neighborhoods.
