Still Aroused Options

I was just digging through old LIVE! mp3's and decided to crank up the audio room for a solid 4 hours of high quality listening since the wife and daughter were out for the day.

Like most, I relish the first four albums... to this day there is nothing that sound like them. Things sorda went awry on V, but neverthe less, 4 awsome discs isn't bad at all for any band.

One of my favorite "not on a disc" tracks is Still Aroused. Does anyone have some great versions of that song that I can get? I have the studio version I guess, but any other live versions or demo versions would be cool to have. I don't get why that never made it to one of their discs.

I do, but I'd be damned if I can't remember anything that actually happened on it.

I was like 14 then and still new to the internet so I was enjoying... other things.

You know, the really neat thing about TDTH (and TC and SS for that fact) is that if they were released today, they'd still be relevant and still be unique.

I just finished some upgrades to my system, moved up to the next model of Defintitive Technology towers so I had some time to listen today. I mean have you ever heard a song that sounds anything like Where Fishes Go? Vodoo Lady... even Run to the Water... the lyrics, the music, the arrangement... all of it is unique. TC was the same. I remember listening to White Discusson for the first time back in 91 I think when I was still in college. I got that disc and couldn't believe what I was hearing. It's no different for me today.

TDTH, to me, was a culmination of all their previous work... a sophisticated sounding wall of music that retained it's edge and originality. It wasn't so much a progression of direction as much as it was a growth of ability and maturity as a top notch band putting out the best of themselves as individuals and as a group.
