My wife was complaining and asking why I still check that Live website when they're not even a band and I was telling her that there's actually a lot going on since there are actually going to be 2 albums released this year by Ed and TGF. Eventually the conversation got to:

"Really - you're going to support the guy who was a jerk and asked his friends for a lead singers fee, stabbed his group in the back, and wrecked your favorite band?"

Good Point - With all the exciting news sometimes you lose perspective on how it all started.

Ed is a fucking greedy ass bastard who is arrogant and full of his own self. Guess he really is a musician.

And - why would Chad provide fans with legal documents and contracts. Ed signed a deal without the band - are you calling the rest of the band liars? If so fuck you too!

Who really fuckin' cares? They're a bunch of millionaires who spend their days playing music and banging groupies. How does any of their business dealings or back stabbing or any of that affect YOUR life?

I'm sure the true story will never be known.

And who cares? Either you like the music they make, or you don't... Why does anything else matter?

Are they really millionaires? I wouldn't think so.
And for someone who doesn't care you seem to be going around knocking TGF.
I personally don't go around saying TGF album will be the greatest thing and so on.
I enjoy the clips I've heard and will make an opinion of the album once it sinks in and I hear it a bunch of times.
I will also check out Ed's album but so far the songs he's released really do nothing for me. But there may be some gems on his album too.

That's because their groupies on this board are really annoying at times! "here comes the greatest rawk album ever!!!" Because of a Facebook post? a 30 second sample? A track they released for two minutes? Their poses in some promo photos?? What makes them the greatest rawk band ever exactly? Maybe you should actually wait for the album before declaring them the greatest thing ever, eh?

Anyway, I think I've made it plenty clear that I'll be picking up their album and Ed's and I hope both are awesome... but so far, it's all pretty generic... just different kinds of generic. But that's why I don't go around declaring something to be awesome or sucky based on 30 second samples or camera phone recorded YouTube boots...
