Good grief, $175 for a "brief" phone call. I've been ambivalent about Ed schlocking his wares, but this is a bit much. I know everybody needs to make money, but come on.

And why would you pay for the level 3 membership, all you get is a $20 (overpriced) T-shirt for $25, just buy level 2 and buy the shirt separately.

Sorry Ed, but all this money grabbing is starting to turn people off.

Also that the phone call would be good for marketing, it's an affordable price that even non hardcore Live/Ed fans can afford and feel closer to Ed which will help sales!

Hahaha.. dude.. the funny part is Ed and "Live" had been alienating casual fans for a very long time with their last few releases. And now Ed is completely alienating the hardcore fans with these type of ridiculous money making schemes.

It depends on how you define hardcore fan. If the hardcore fans are the middle aged women who love the later Live material than hell yeah they will go willy nilly for this shit.

I think middle aged women are the only fans Ed has left.

It's funny how the whole "middle aged women fan" phrase has caught on around here. I take credit for coming up with it about 6 years ago when Ed lost his balls and started writing sissy music that only mothers would actually enjoy.
