He isn't the drummer for my favorite band ever, of course! That's always the greatest drummer in the world!

I would assume "music people" have ways to categorizing a drummer's level of talent, even if to most people it "seems" like drummers can be easily swapped out.

"Music people" are such jackasses.

One of the things that drew me to Live back in the MJ days (when I was learning to play) was Gracey's unique take on syncopation and how the other instruments would sometimes follow him. To me, Ed's bands version of AoY takes a lot of that away.

Not that I would ever want them to try to emulate the song piece by piece mind you, but it does hurt to hear it become more of a generic pop song.

Watching this made me wish that Ed would have just gone acoustic for awhile. I enjoy his acoustic material, and particularly enjoyed the video of him playing piano. A minimalist Ed K album would have been pretty neat I think.
