I bet Ed could release the most amazing record of all time and no one will ever know because they can't spell his last name.

Awful, awful marketing decision. As dumb as "Eddie K" sounded it would have been much easier for people to remember.

In the day of search engines it won't be so hard to find ed kowalczyk. If you put in Ed K, Ed Ko, or Ed Kow, it comes up pretty easily.

I agree it is not the best name, but what can you do? It should have been changed in 1991 smile.gif

All the more reason to just go with Ed K or Eddie K, to me. Having a name that is easy to pronounce and understand is pretty central to show business. But, I don't get paid the big bucks to market artists, just really small ones.

I agree Ed K or Eddie K would be much easier, however both sound pretty lame. Hopefully he has a strong label to help promote.
