Ed's Future Options

I think we all know that Ed has great potential. I've always heard people say that it might take a dark, depressing turn of events to get Ed back to writing some powerful stuff. If he allows this ugly break up to affect him in any way, he might use some of that brilliant introspective energy for his upcoming projects.

With that said, what do you guys see him doing after this solo record? Do you think he'll keep writing solo records? Or join some established band who needs a new frontman? I think he could fit in with a lot of great bands. I was thinking about different rock bands that would sound good with Ed, and one that jumped out was SafetySuit. Their music sounds a bit like Live. Another possibility would be some type of tv show. He's got great stage presence, and he's great with the camera. Or do you guys just see him selling coffee at ridiculous prices for the next 10 years?

At least the song with tricky was decent. but the whole hip hop/rap scene probably fits with his new values. Hes a straight up hustla'. fo real

It just occurred to me that most people outside the 'fans of LIVE' won't know the difference between CG, CT and PD and some other rhythm section EK might have as a backing band... people will probably be like... "hey it's Chris Daughtry and will.i.am.com.whatever and that bald guy and his band LIVE (we saw him on American Idol) ....wow they're so cool!''

don't get me wrong... whether or not that secret contract thing is true or not - or whether EK's a dick or not... his new persona is just...I don't know...fake-ish.

I don't buy that 'Holier than thou' stuff.
