Hey with Live's breakup being official and all it is really great that Nick and Dan are still running this board for everyone to use.

Here is to Nick and Dan with a great big thanks. nod.gif

It's quite sad all of the other message boards have fallen so hard such as Illout. It looks like Straight out of York has fallen by the wayside as well.

I'll keep checking here to. I'd actually miss a lot of the shit you guys spew.

In fact, if you think about it this site is more necessary than ever.

Even though Live is apart the members are actually more active now than they have been in years. I mean YEARS!

The band is interacting with fans online like they've never done before. I would have killed for this back in the 90's.

Ed has regularly been on tour and is releasing acoustic perfomances at an alarming rate for Live. We've never seen anything like that from the band.

We have the potential of 2 new albums being released by band members in the next few months (around about the same time) and the potential for two tours by Live members.

According to Ed, there is a DVD in the works.

If you really think about it, we haven't had a real new album since SFBM and in all of Live's history they've only released 1 DVD. From what I understand we should be expecting 2 new albums and a DVD by next spring / summer.

Although we are all disappointed about the "brief hiatus" - ehem, the members of this band are working on accomplishing things we haven't seem them do in years.

If you think about it, actually like what these guys do, and expect they will continue to put out music you enjoy then you should actually be excited if you can look past your grief.

I'm bummed out but I'm hoping to be in for a real treat. This may actually be what these guys needed to get it back.

I don't know you personally, but I know you guys and know I can find people who follow ans share an interest in the band here.

This is the place I hope to turn to discuss all the upcoming things, and hopefully potential reunion. It's really the last Live internet island left out there for us fans!
