Found this YouTube video of Live performing Freaks on Australian TV in 1997. Hey, Hey It's Saturday was a weekly variety show that used to be on every Saturday from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. It was quite popular.

It probably wasn't the best song to perform on their only television appearance (Ed even mentioned in his tour diary at the time that he was wondering how they would deal with the 'You little fucker' line) but as far as I know this is the only time the song was performed on a TV show.

The video quality is ok (aspect ratio is a bit off) and the audio and video are out of sync in some parts. Worth watching though.

a bit related but unrelated to the post (if you kno what i mean) ... to anyone wanting to download youtube videos directly from youtube - you can visiy http://vixy.net (no www.) - and either download the software or just paste the youtube video link and state your output preference and done!
