Ed is scheduled to sing "I Walk The Line" as long as other songs at a special show at MLB studios on April 12th in NYC. "I Walk The Line" and not "The River" will be broadcast at Yankee stadium the same inning.

Now what if Epic wants to capitilize on American Idol promotion/scandal and put a version of I Walk the Line on the new album. It can't be the same version as the one on "Awake" but perhaps Ed could pull a solo acoustic version together quickly? Or they could record a live version at an upcoming concert. Since American Idol is only a US show, it would only affect the US release date.

Maybe its a long-shot, but I think it makes sense. Anyone have any thoughts?

blush.gif bloody hell!! i never thought Ed and crew would sell out to this commercial pile of crappy pop idol bollocks!! I love "walk the line" (lives version) cant stand country music normally..
