How many times do we have to go through this shit with Live? Is this their fault? It just seems that EVERY TIME they ever release an album or a single its ass backwards to what should be done. We all thought that Geffen was bad. Hell Sony is worse. Whether we like this new material or not I think that we can all agree that some of it (The River, Mystery) could be successful on Hot AC radio, but once again nobody will ever hear it. At least not in the U.S. Why make a video if it will never get played? Why delay the album over and over again? Why release the album overseas at an earlier date then in the U.S.? This shit is just ridiculous.

its getting pretty good airplay down here. I hear it in the morning and in the aftternoon all at prime times and they play snippets of ed between songs sometimes "hey this is ed kowalchyzk from live you're listening to blah blah blah". It's at about 33 on the ARIA singles chart in it's second week so thats not bad. TC took a year to get to the top and SFBM isnt even out yet. Chill the fuck out.

#33 now #36 when Heaven cracked the top 20 isn't good. It isn't bad, but it could be better. Hopefully the album opens in the Top 5 on the Aria charts, but who knows at this point.
One thing I have learned is that many Australians like to curse for no reason. It must be a cultural thing, but in the states it is extremely rude and obnoxious.

Also it seems that many stations are increasing plays of the song this week. It also got a new add on Seattle....maybe the song isn't done yet. We shall see. Ed is coming to NYC next week. If we can get the song on the radio here , many smaller markets will follow suit. Its up to WPLJ now......

A couple of nights ago, I got the urge to call 95.5 WPLJ at around 10 pm ( I live in NJ ) to request "The River." I even went so far as to make believe that I wasn't familiar with the band, but that I had heard this song with "rivers or something" and I really liked it. I got through right away, and spoke with the DJ, I think. She told me that they couldn't play "The River" because they don't really play "new" songs. Basically, they need to wait a while to start playing a new song.
So, I was forced to request "Heaven" because that was the only thing they could play, which is fine, but how will this station start playing "The River" if they can't??!! I think that Ed getting interviewed and playing on the station next week (in the morning) will be a great thing. It may get some morning listeners to hear him, remember the band, hear the new song, and start requesting. One can only hope....
