AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO CANNOT STAND TWITTER??? I mean, the mear mention of the word "tweet" makes me sick. Narcisistic people love to believe that the rest of us sit with bated breath waiting to find out when the said writer is going to pee. I can care less about other's thoughts once their eye's open in the morning.....with the exception of my wife.

With that being said, I spent one minute looking at ed's twitter page only for the purpose of reading his take on LIVE's break.

Has that man LOST his mind? I mean really has he???????? The page I read sounds as if he is gone.........

Just my opionion. However, I am not foolish enough and/or narcisistic enough to believe that many of you have been waiting for my opinion.

The band is done. Its over. I will cherish the music, memories, etc. Still see Ed's solo work when I can, and will give the "Un named" new band a chance.

I don't know I have mixed feelings. I am Older (39). Been a fan from the begining.

I look towards other music, specifically Blue October to feel the void. Check them out!

I really think for the most part Twitter is mundane and downright ridiculous, but I have to say I am pretty hooked with accesibilty towards people like the guys from Live. In the past we would speculate about things going on, there would be no news for weeks or months, they are no longer on any media oultets, so there was nothing new and exciting. Especially now with what is going on with the band it has opened us up to a new side of the guys.

I love Conan Obrien's twitter tracker skit, great satire about a lot of the dumb stuff people post about. Nice one Coco!

That's what it comes down to for me; I get much more access to people I'd like to hear from. I don't follow any of my real life friends, just a few celebrities. Doesn't hurt, does it?

Also, I don't get why people are cotninuing to cry and shout about Live being over. Taylor has stated many times that it's just a break. Listening to the fucking guy already! Quit thinking you know better than the guys who are actually IN the band.

As for Ed... he does seem slightly more eccentic than ever before, yeah. But oh well, as long as he makes some good tunes...

I agree with Ed. I really enjoyed seeing him solo and acoustic. ...

......... (I still think he lost his mind) yay.gif tongue2.gif whistle.gif ........

I also understand this is just a "break". However, there are too many examples of bands that fade off into the disctance when they change the line up. I question if +LIVE+ has the fan base to prevent that from happening.

Just my opinion....and yes I am aware I am not in the band........howevrt, I feel its over. Who cares! We still have great music to listen to.
