As you may already have heard, Chris Daughtry from American Idol performed a cover of "I Walk The Line" on a recent airing of American Idol, which sounded eerily similiar to Live's rendition of the same song. New articles on this controversy have been posted to numerous online websites, including MTV.com, as well as the Yahoo.com. I have added 2 downloads from this controversy to the site. The first is a video that was featured on a local Fox news station, which compares both Chris' and Live's covers. And the second is a mp3 of Chris' performance of "I Walk The Line" that originally aired on American Idol. Both of these downloads have been posted below. If he was gonna change the key to accomodate his vocal range, then he should of changed it to a more comfortable one. He obviously couldn't hit that low E.

Nice enough voice though. And seriously...

Wow!! I can't believe that guy!!! What a jerk!! I also can't believe how upset I became when I heard how much it alike (pretty much identical) it really was!! Is there anything we can do to help?! Well, I know I'm gonna protest by not watching it (I don't anyway, really) and telling everyone I know not to watch it. I'm going to email American Idol a letter, maybe we could all keep doing that, I don't know, too much? Let me know guys.

...because its really that big a deal. or was that a joke? I hope so.
