Is album pushed back again?, Speculation on SOY Options

It seems that "Songs from Black Mountain" may have its US release date pushed back again. It has been removed from Amazon, FYE, and other online outlets. The speculation is that Epic pushed the release back again. I really don't get it....

I'm guessing all the major online companies pulled the US release because they figure sales in the US will be virtually non-existant.. probably below 10,000 for the first week and then sales will stop after that. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last Live album we'll see. Sony could push this album all they want, but unless you're a Live fan, album #7 really wouldn't interest anyone.

Birds of Pray sold 40,000 albums the first week with minimal promotion and no tour behind it. "The River" is a fun, catchy song that would be a hit on American radio if pushed properly. It would open up LIVE to a new world of fans and give SFBM pretty solid sales in my opinion, especially coupled with a US tour(which the first half is already in place). However, if the album gets delayed again, LIVE would have been better suited to tour Europe-Australia in May.

Epic is also flying Ed around on a US radio tour to promote the album, but really isn't pushing the song anymore and may be delaying the release of the album again. The radio tour should wait till the album release. Ed should tell Epic to get their acts together, let him spend time with his family, and refuse to fly around the US until they SET AND PROPERLY PROMOTE a definitive US release date.
