Great show as usual, but disappointed that it was short...only 16 songs, 3 less than Anaheim. Crowd was solid too. Taylor seemed to be having earpiece issues all night, and took out his frustrations during epic White Discussion.

My highlights were a killer version of Hold Me Up, and I also really liked the new song Believe.

I Alone
Top
Gas Hed
Selling the Drama
The Distance
Forever
Turn My Head
Hold Me Up
Dolphins Cry
Lakinis Juice
Believe
Heaven

Encore:
Sofia
All Over You
Lightning Crashes
White Discussion

We actually ran into Ed after the show too, he exited the venue well after the show out onto 5th St and walked right past us back into the HOB Restaurant, we followed and he was very gracious to try and take a few pics in the very dark restaurant area as he waited for an elevator.

MJ+V+BoP+SFBM: 2
TC+SS+TDTH:12 (vegas show:13)

Yes, San Diego...also after sleeping on it, a couple more observations. I've been to about 15 +LIVE+ shows now, and this time there was virtually no interaction between the guys, no introductions of the band during the whole show. They ended the first set with LC, and they did not do their standard group pose with arms around each other. It appeared like the roadies were setting up for a 2nd encore, but then one of them pulled the curtain to close it, and the show ended (only 10:20pm, they actually started 5 minutes early according to my watch). Still a good show, Ed seemed to be enjoying himself with the crowd, but just not as personal amongst the band.

The first time is saw them, in Leuven (Belgium) 2004, during the Awake tour, Ed introduced the band at the end of the show during... I think W,D (but maybe it was DWY). Back than I thought it was usual, so I was surprised to never see that again. But I guess now it's not as usual as I thought?

I think Ed did it at Starland in 2007, but that was more to announce the upcoming summer tour.

I'm surprised the band has removed Walk the Line from the setlist....it always received a killer reaction from the crowd.

yeah i noticed that too earlier this year
I guess they just played it a lill too much (for a cover) last few years, it has been non-stop in every setlist since 2005.
It will return nod.gif
