See for yourself. Granted, its just an article - but Ed twittered in response to it and said "Beautiful piece!" and seemed excited by it.

Is it strange that I don't want Ed to practice any specific religion? I liked it better when he asked questioned this stuff more (of course, that is a selfish thought). But come to think of it, "Take me on up to Zion" has Old Testament written all over it. At first I took it more as him just experimenting with the idea of "Zion" - a perfect place of comfort. But this article says that he has "devoted himself to God" and compared Live to Creed and Nickelback - God help us all..... (no pun intended)

Perhaps you can show me where Ed even eludes that Forever has Christian inspiration. On his recent bootleg recording he flat out says it's supposed to be a song to make you feel better. Do you want Ed to be a Jesus-poster boy this much that you resort to making things up?

now, show me you're statement of him being on a multi-religious kick. and, if the statement is refering to his spirtual path throughout his life... then yes, i'd agree that's a multi-religious thing. but, if he is a Christian.... then that's all he is.

How many devout Christians do you know go around quoting Buddha in their twitter pages. Sure he quoted some Moses as well, does that make him a psuedo-Jew half Christian man as well? It's right there in black and white. He is on a MULTI-RELIGION kick. Quit inferring shit. Shouldn't you be protesting at an abortion clinic or damning gays to hell instead of arguing one man's supposed Christianity on the internet?
