if you're a Christian,... you want others to be, too. not for your sake, but for theirs.

if he has truly given his heart and soul to Jesus... then yes, i do.

see, that's the problem... to a non-believer... when anyone that is a Christian even brings up the fact that Jesus is their Lord and Saviour... they think they are trying to "push" their beliefs on someone. i'm not doing that. i'm telling you what i believe and why i believe it. and, for me to want the same for anyone else is my decision. if you think me being happy for ed, that he found Christ, is pushing my beliefs on you... then you're the one with the problem.

see, you don't get it... Christianity isn't "something to get you through the day"... becoming a Christian isn't going to make your life easier... it's actually going to make it harder. but, i know that It will keep my soul for eternity with the Lord.

but, to the one that said that he knows that i wouldn't lay my life down for him... he's probably right. i don't know you and i'm just not that good of a person. but, Jesus is. He does know you, and He did lay down His life for you. He does love you. more than i ever could and more than i could ever explain.

Well we're gonna have to wrap this up with an agree to disagree, I don't think he laid down his life for me cos .. well, i just don't believe there's enough proof of that. I don't believe he loves me (or that he's there at all) because what first lead me down the path away from Christianity was a lack of feeling love. So you're not gonna change my (our) mind and I (we) are not gonna change yours.

The funny thing is though since denouncing religion I feel so much happier, I feel more free, I feel more love in my life .. it just *feels* right ... if I were straying away from the one true path, it just shouldn't feel like this I imagine.
