if you're a Christian,... you want others to be, too. not for your sake, but for theirs.

if he has truly given his heart and soul to Jesus... then yes, i do.

see, that's the problem... to a non-believer... when anyone that is a Christian even brings up the fact that Jesus is their Lord and Saviour... they think they are trying to "push" their beliefs on someone. i'm not doing that. i'm telling you what i believe and why i believe it. and, for me to want the same for anyone else is my decision. if you think me being happy for ed, that he found Christ, is pushing my beliefs on you... then you're the one with the problem.

see, you don't get it... Christianity isn't "something to get you through the day"... becoming a Christian isn't going to make your life easier... it's actually going to make it harder. but, i know that It will keep my soul for eternity with the Lord.

for me, it's as simple as this. God says he created the world. i believe it. God said he knew me before i was concieved. i believe it. God said that if i accept Him as my lord i will be saved. i believe it. God said that we should trust Him cause He's been where we are going to protect us from our unknowing. i believe it.

maybe God knows of the different outcomes that will happen depending on what we choose. which outcome we come to is up to us. either way... He knows exactly what will happen to us along the way of the path we choose.
