if you truly loved eddie k. you'd wish him nothing but the best in his life, and be happy FOR HIM that he has found Jesus Christ.

Who said we loved Ed? It's called 90's angst and it represents a part of our childhood. He is allowed to change but we don't have to like it. Angst means a struggle and a struggle makes for good passionate songwriting. When he has found what he was looking for, the story is over and there is nothing left to sing about. He needs to sing something preachy again because there is more unjust crap than ever to sing about. As a young person who is still struggling, I don't want to hear Love shines... I want to hear Heropsychodreamer!

see, that's the problem... to a non-believer... when anyone that is a Christian even brings up the fact that Jesus is their Lord and Saviour... they think they are trying to "push" their beliefs on someone. i'm not doing that. i'm telling you what i believe and why i believe it. and, for me to want the same for anyone else is my decision. if you think me being happy for ed, that he found Christ, is pushing my beliefs on you... then you're the one with the problem.

see, you don't get it... Christianity isn't "something to get you through the day"... becoming a Christian isn't going to make your life easier... it's actually going to make it harder. but, i know that It will keep my soul for eternity with the Lord.

you're good enough???.... good enough for what??? i'm sure you're a good person. i'm a good person. as for showing you different.... well, i don't know you, but i'd be willing to bet that you've lied.... or judged... or stole (maybe/maybe not).... lust.... betrayed.... hated.... etc.... those are just a few of many things that we all do or have done that doesn't make us bad people, but keeps us from being perfect or acceptable to God. in comes Jesus. Jesus is the bridge that we all need to have a eternal relationship with God. i'm not pushing this on you... this is just what i believe. if you don't... then that's your decision. no need in cussing me.

I hope you don't speak for the majority of Christians. You seem very close minded. You need to accept that not everyone has the same views or religious beliefs as you. YOUR WAY is not the right or only way. In accepting this, I do believe you will be a better person. Oh.....don't drink the Kool Aid!!!

people say that Christians are narrow minded for thinking that Jesus is the only way and nobody can make them think different... well, why aren't non-Christians equally as narrow minded for thinking that Jesus ISN'T the only way and nobody can make THEM think different?

to get to Heaven you have to be sinless or have a perfect, sinless, sacrafice for your sins. in comes Jesus.

WWJD? Do you think Jesus would want you to be narrow minded & criticize other religions? For some reason, I don't think so. HE would want you to be accepting of all people. Your not being a good person telling everyone if they don't believe in your TRUTH (or whatever you call it) that they will go to Hell.
