LIVE has confirmed more tour dates! On May 9th, LIVE will be performing at the Silver Legacy Casino in Reno, NV. Tickets for this show go on sale to general public on Saturday (3/21) via Ticketmaster. We were able to set up a Homespun member presale for this show! The presale will begin tomorrow (3/18) at 10 AM PT and will run until Friday (3/20) at 1 PM PT. Homespun members: just log into your homespun online account. Once logged in click on the “Homespun Member Ticketing Page” link. This will take you to the secure page where you can purchase tickets. If you are not a member of Homespun, LIVE’s official fan club, then you will need to purchase a membership in our online store to participate in the presale. Once the membership is processed you will automatically receive your login information via email.

LIVE will also be performing at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA on May 10th. Tickets for this show also go on sale to general public on Saturday (3/21) via Ticketmaster. We are trying to get a Homespun member presale set up for this show also. If we are able to get one set up in time we will let everyone know.

The show last night was awesome. Last time I saw the guys I came on this board and described how bored and unenthused I was; there was none of that this time. The guys were really on their game and it was absolutely AWESOME to hear multiple songs that I've never heard live before (and, to be honest, never thought I would).

Highlights of the night were:

- a sped-up version of "Top" (one of my favorite Live songs of all-time...never thought I'd hear that one in person!)
- Chris Daughtry joining the guys on "I Alone" (I don't really like his music, but it was cool to see the crowd go crazy)
- Ed's solo version of "Blowin' in the Wind"
- "Pain Lies on the Riverside" (another one I thought I may never hear)
- "Hold Me Up" (same as above)
- "Gas Hed..." (didn't sound GREAT, but it was a pleasure to hear nonetheless)

"Believe" was also pretty fucking good. As others have described, definitely a rock song. Not a "fast" song though (like "Stage"); more of a mid-tempo song with HEAVY guitars. It's MUCH better than "Purifier," and in fact I would argue that it's a much different type of song. Probably closer to sounding like "Rattlesnake" than "Purifier," but even that's a stretch. I tried catching the lyrics but pretty much forgot everything I heard. lol.gif I do remember the chorus goes something like: "It's time to believe again / I'm talking to you, my friend / If this is not the end / blah blah blah...". That's probably way off though.

One more note: the opening band (Carney) was brilliant. It's very rare that I enjoy sitting through an opening band, but I actually found myself disappointed when Carney was done. I had seen them open for Live once before, and they were GREAT then, too -- enough so that I went out and bought a couple of their EP's and discovered how great they are. The lead singer (Reeve Carney) has a very Jeff Buckley-ish thing going on, which is about the highest compliment I could ever give a singer (he was also a child actor, starring in the film "Snow Falling on Cedars.") Carney's final song of the night, "Testify," was simply amazing and had much of the crowd buzzing after their set. DEFINITELY check them out if you get the chance.
