It looks like downloading the leak will be the only way us folks in the US will be able to hear this thing.

Talked with a friend of mine who works at Elekra Records, and she said Warner Brothers had been in talks with Live but ultimately lost their battle to Sony/Epic who picked them up. She said she's heard from folks at Epic that they're seriously thinking about pulling the US Release and only releasing it internationally.

The reason Sony hasn't made it official is because they want to see how many pre-orders they can sell, as close to the release date as possible. They use these numbers for future reference; take it for what it's worth. She said she would bet a lot of $$ on people in the US never getting their hands on SFBM, especially since most Hot/AC stations are pulling the plug on The River this weekend. It's all but official that fans in the US will not hear this album unless they download the leak.
