great show last night. Ed performed great. Interacted a lot with the audiance. Premiered a new Live song! I think it is called "Lift me up to Zion." not sure if it is "take me up" Anyway......AMAZING song! Can't wait to hear it with full band. Ed was in lower regester for the song .... reminds me of TC days. After show, he jumped into audiance for an extended meet and great!

The general theme of the song was more angry but not really angsty. I can't remember the main chorus exactly, but there was something about "taking the fight to my enemies" or something like that. I believe the song also used more metaphor and less simile, I can't recall the use of "like" at all. I also don't remember ever hearing the word "love" at all in the song, which is a notable change from recent material.

I'm not 100% on that, it's the best I can remember. I really should have thought quicker and recorded some of it on my phone...

Yeah, the first time I saw him as "eddie" was on the billboard driving into the venue. EDDIE K was listed. My first thought was .....wtf? I guess its his way of distinguishing his solo act from band. If so....that's fair. It is a different show with a different feel.

Ed's been using the Eddie moniker for years. I heard an interview where he said that his 'friends' call him Eddie. Also, he's used it publicly at the Integral Naked site.
