Live supposedly rehearsed songs that they haven't played in quite some time yesterday. I can't wait to see what ends up in the setlist tonight!

Yeah, really : he makes alot of mistakes and he's not the only one.

Listen to the HOB recording of "Top". They played it way too fast!
Ed doesn't even have the time to place his voice during the "you are not the o-o-o-one" parts.

On the other hand, Ed is consistently adding a bunch of useless random notes at the end of each lines during some songs. Listen to the youtube video of "Hold me up" from the first night. Horrible.

I can remember 2 acoustic/solo versions of "Forever" Ed fucked up completely.
The first one popped up on youtube. I think it was the first time he played it live. It sounded like he just discovered it.
The second was only an mp3 and said to be a lullaby version of it. He took it way way way too low for his abilities.

That's the kind of mistakes you wouldn't get if they practised more. Sometimes I don't even feel like they're doing some feedback sessions by listening to themselves.

While I agree with most of what you said, you are way off base on one point. The March 26th recording of Lift me Up is almost perfect from a vocal standpoint. He is off an octave or two on one word the entire song. Where he sings the word "real." Other than that, he is spot on perfect in that tune. I think you need to go back and listen to the master version, then take a listen to that recording again pal.

But yeah, I agree with the rest of what you said. Ed, in my opinion is just trying to get too fancy with his shit. I'd almost call it gay. Whatever it is, he needs to man back up and sing these songs like they were meant to be sung. Sometimes, I'm very VERY embarassed for him.
