Symphony x
Dream Theater
Cynic
Tool
Riverside
Nevermore
Opeth

If you are tired of boring bands, prog is where it's at.

I think a lot of people here would enjoy a band like Porcupine Tree and Pain of Salvation. (and a lot of the older prog rock bands as mentioned by Badman.) It just grinds my gears when I see people on here talk about how there aren't great bands out there anymore. Dig beyond your mainstream radio stations and MTVs and you will find some amazing talent.
