Today in the Dutch edition of the newspaper 'Metro' there was an article on the premiere of the Live DVD in Amsterdam, yesterday.

The article end with:
QUOTE
"...Live will play seven times in Holland for the Night of the Proms. Frontman Ed Kowalczyk said that the band is busy working on new material, dat will sound more solid/strong than their recent stuff."

whoohooe thumbsup.gif sounds like they broke with the SFBM-style for good

Also Chad T wrote, after mentioning the 2 new songs, 'there is more to come' on his blog, very recently.

Full article: http://rapidshare.com/files/160346799/livemetropdf.pdf.html

(but it is in Dutch, and the rest of the text says nothing new)

Yesterday Ed was at Dutch Radio at 3FM the Coen and Sander show.

You can here it here: http://cgi.omroep.nl/cgi-bin/streams?/radi.../dinsdag-16.wma

First they played Forever and after that they spoke with Ed, the interview start at 39 mins.

He says pretty much the same, that Purifier and Forever is the direction they are going.

If Purifier and Forever are the benchmark for the next album...it's setting up to be a decent record.

Well... I remain cautiously optimistic. Birds of Pray was a 'harder/heavier' album, but that didn't mean it was great.

I do like Forever and Purifier though.... sounds good! thumbsup.gif

Could someone clarify something, though, please.... I read somewhere on these boards that Radiant Sea and Beautiful Invisible were both outtakes from V... is this true? I personally hate those songs (and the rapping in RS would seem to make more sense), but the album states they're "two new songs." God, I hope these are old rarities and not their newer stuff...
