his voice sounds like shit. no offense. it occasionally is reminiscent off ed's old voice, but mostly sounds washed out and fucked up. for the new album, should ed use autotune to make it sound better?

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he were using it these days, but it would if he were using it back in the MJ/TC/SS days, and again thats what I like the rawness of his voice and the "in the moment" I guess, rather than trying to gloss everything over and make it sound perfect. It's simple to me, Ed is trying to sing way beyond his limits, it shows gig after gig when he fails to reach high notes and his voice cracks. Yet when he stays lower and doesn't try to push it he can deliver some incredible vocals. The fact that he needs an autotune is kinda sad because he doesn't need it, not if he sings within his limits anyways
