his voice sounds like shit. no offense. it occasionally is reminiscent off ed's old voice, but mostly sounds washed out and fucked up. for the new album, should ed use autotune to make it sound better?

I'd guess that, if they didn't use it in Forever, it's part of the reason that people actually LIKE the vocals in the song. These kind of things have an effect on listening to the song that people don't usually recognize.

That said, I'd wager that it was used at least a little on the song. In the studio I don't think it's common to auto tune an entire track, unless it's someone who just can't sing at all. Auto tuning an entire track makes it sound unnatural, which as bad as it may be SFBM didn't have really unnatural vocals. Just annoyingly high vocals and bad melodies!
