I am asked constantly when the next album will be released and frankly there is no answer to that question other than to say that when Ed, Chad, Pat and I are ready to resume our creative interaction, we will. Until then we have a massive volume of past material that remains a joy to perform for Live fans worldwide.

They've been on tour so their obviously not recording new stuff. When Ed said he wanted to include new stuff on the album I assumed he meant things already recorded like on Radiant Sea. Why would you even assume otherwise with the schedule they've had?

I'm surprised you even thought otherwise. I'm hoping for something like New City or maybe other songs we've never known about.

In the NYC interview, Ed mentioned that he was excited to share the new material to show Live fans what direction the band is headed in. To me it sounded like they were newly recorded. Either way, I just hope the band takes the time to play the "new" material in concert.
