If anyone is considering going out to see this I would recommend it. I think it's one of Pixar's best flix!

Not interested ... not that I'm against animated movies, but watching this robot walk around by itself and show (impressive) facial expressions doesn't look interesting. He does look a lot like Johnny 5 though ... now theres a movie that tugged at the old heart strings .. like when they bashed him with an axe and oil was spurting out everywhere sad.gif

I'm a huge Disney fan and I really wanted to like this film, but it just did not work for me. I found lack of dialogue jarring and the overall pace of the film a bit plodding. I think it ranks with the Incredibles and the original Toy Story as the Pixar films that I did not care for. Wall-E the character itself if pretty cool though, way less annoying than Johnny Five! Also, I did enjoy the early scenes when he collected junk for his house. That was pretty clever.

Bug's Life, Monsters Inc. and Cars are the standard for me when it comes to Pixar.

You're a part of a very small minority.

I personally loved WALL*E, though The Incredibles is still #1 from Pixar.
