Live will be playing "The Festival of the Lakes" festival in Hammond Indiana on this date. It is the same free festival near Chicago that they played in 2006. Let's hope Ed can stay healthy this time around!

This was quite a contrast to the last Hammond show! The crowd was somewhat enthusiastic (for Hoosiers), at least better than last time. Ed's voice was great last night and he even played a guitar solo, but the crowd didn't seem to pick up on it. No one seemed to want to do the "Wings" dance, either.... Ed was really trying to get people to spread their arms, but to no avail. I felt bad for Ed because he looked rather disappointed. Ed, if you're reading, I spread my arms a few times! hi.gif I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and it really seemed the band was feeling it too. It was the best I've seen them (5th time), so thanks a ton guys. I finally got the show I had been waiting for.

I'm kind of upset about one thing.... I missed the Lakini's juice dance section because a friend of mine passed out during the middle of the song and I took care of him on the ground. I could hear fine, but I couldn't see, and I was distracted by making sure my friend was ok.

In case they play this show again, does anyone know how to get into the seated section? Are they given away by the local radio station? I saw people who obviously didn't give a shit sitting up there... plus empty seats. uhoh.gif
