There seems to be a general opinion that the newer Live music is not as good as the older material. I would like to ask, in your opinion, what are the Top 10 songs Live has released on an album since The Distance To Here was released?

Your Top 10 list could include any songs from V, BOP, SFBM, the I Walk The Line cover (originally released in 2001), and the two new songs from RS.

After looking over everyone's list I can't believe nobody even mentioned "We Deal In Dreams" . It's not a personal favorite of mine but it's not a bad song. Either it's completely forgotten or people just don't like it.

The version of We Deal in Dreams that's on the Awake CD was recorded during the Throwing Copper sessions, so technically it doesn't meet the post-TDTH criteria.

But it wasn't released with the album. Technically it's new with Awake (unless you are a super Live fan that already had everything).

I'm pretty sure the only other one mentioned was God Don't Never Change which was played at a few shows last summer. There's a decent mp3 recording of it and last summer there was a vid on YouTube but I'm not sure if it's still there.
I thought the mp3 was encoded from the YouTube video. Anyway, the mp3 was pretty poor, do you have a better sounding copy?

Technically it's old as it was recorded in the 90's. The fact that it was never publicly released is irrelevant. You might have a point if the version released on Awake was re-recorded in 2004 but from my understanding it's an untouched version from 94.

Hey, Dangum, I definitely remember some guys from SOL banging at my head back in the days when Awake was released that the version was completely re-recorded for the CD
There was a radio interview that Chad T and Pat before the Perth show in 2004. They talked about We Deal in Dreams and there was no mention about it being re-recorded... They did say they had a huge archive of unreleased tracks that would probably only be released when they died. (they were joking). I'll see if I can track down the interview and post it..
