Ed solo in Sydney, Australia, March 23rd, 2006 Options

I saw an ad on Music Max this morning saying that Ed will be performing an acoustic concert in Sydney on March 23, it's for the Max Sessions program.

Apparently there are only a handful of tickets being given away.

I couldn't find anything on the website yet, but the link is below:

The MusicMax producer told us it wont be until July.

He sang 4 songs, answered some pre-written questions from the audience, and then sang another 4 songs.

The songs (off the top of my head and in no order) were:

the river
heaven
lightning crashes
get ready
i alone
mystery
selling the drama
dance with you

He fucked up Get Ready not once, but twice. First time, lost his timing, and second time he forgot the lyrics.

Nice small crowd, I'm guessing no more than 90-120 people, in a tiny little venue. There was a stage, and they let some people sit on cushions around the stage (literally 1-2 metres from Ed).

The show itself wasn't anything special. Was hard to get into any of the songs (ie, sing, dance etc) due to the nature of the small crowd/setting. It was a good experience, and Ed looked happy. Best part of it was I saw a few of my friends who I've met at previous shows and who really love LiVE down to the very core of their existence, look really happy and blissful getting to see their man up close and personal. That made me happy

The show went for about an hour, because it started around 1:15pm, and at 2:45pm I was eating Ramen in Bondi

I love it when artists fuck up their own songs!
