Ours Show in Lancaster, PA June 1, 2008, w/ Adam Kowalczyk Options

Happened on this review on an Ours fanboard. Would have loved to hear some of these tunes with Adam backing up with Jimmy. Going to see Ours in Detroit this Sunday. Looking forward to it -- big fan.

Awesome show of course. Jimmy was tearing apart that sound system. His screams sounded like they were breaking the speakers (unless that strange warble was in my ear).

There were only about 50-60 people there. It was kind of awkward...

Meet Me in the Tower (w/ Adam Kowalczyck)

Live Again > Jam
Murder (w/ Adam Kowalczyck)
Worst Things Beautiful
Sometimes
Get Up > Long Jam

The jazzy/trippy jam in Live Again was really cool. Live Again and Ran away were the highlights for me.

Adam Kowalczyck helped out on a couple of songs, though you could only hear him on the last choruses of Tower, which sounded great. I am a big Live fan so that was kind of neat that Ed's brother is tight with Jimmy.

My only complaints would be the brevity of the set and the lack of older songs, though I guess they are "starting over" with this album in a lot of ways. The other albums weren't even available at the merch table.

I look forward to Allentown!

BTW Ike, when I read the topic, I thought, wholy fuck! Our show with Adam Ko! So Ike's band did it!
