Sharon Stone's ignorant ass remark about karma and China got me thinking about karma, and then about other beliefs and superstitions.

I believe in karma, but I wouldn't apply it the way Stone did.

As a kid I was kinda neurotic and phobic, I had lots of superstitions and rituals associated with them designed to protect me.

Nowadays, its mostly hooey to me - I don't have the insecurity issues compelling me to that kind of imagination and powerlessness. But, with the exception of being an asshole such as Stone, I generally don't judge others for what they believe in, I respect people for having beliefs.

What's your reality in terms of this superstitious type stuff - do share it might be interesting.

Tina, the black cat proves how idiotic superstitions are. In England, black cats are considered lucky. In the USA they are considered unlucky. Who's right? And if you are an American in England and a black cat crosses your path, is that lucky or unlucky?
