Are You Superstitious? Options

Sharon Stone's ignorant ass remark about karma and China got me thinking about karma, and then about other beliefs and superstitions.

I believe in karma, but I wouldn't apply it the way Stone did.

As a kid I was kinda neurotic and phobic, I had lots of superstitions and rituals associated with them designed to protect me.

Nowadays, its mostly hooey to me - I don't have the insecurity issues compelling me to that kind of imagination and powerlessness. But, with the exception of being an asshole such as Stone, I generally don't judge others for what they believe in, I respect people for having beliefs.

What's your reality in terms of this superstitious type stuff - do share it might be interesting.

I am not superstitious at all. I own a black cat. I think it's crazy living life like that. I used to work with a woman who was so superstitious. If someone whistled she would freak out because it meant that you were whistling your money out the door and since we were at work, it wasn't good. She wouldn't even put her hand bag on the floor because of something that had to do with money. My handbag is on the floor in work every single day and I'm paying my bills just fine. I just don't get it.

I guess it would be crazy for me to believe that things happen for a reason? I do believe that.
